- Elementary Mathematics Laboratory in Grand Rapids
This summer, in addition to the two-week EML program in Ann Arbor, Deborah Ball led a mathematics laboratory program in Grand Rapids, working with 27 entering fifth graders from the Kent Intermediate School District. The program provided children with an opportunity to improve their mathematical knowledge and skill and at the same time enabled professionals with a range of expertise and perspectives to work together on complex problems of learning and teaching.
