Our Purpose,

With this website, we hope to accomplish two goals. The first, is to provide general information about Latinos in Michigan. For example, the lifestyles, culture, and problems in society that the Latino population faces everyday. The second purpose of this website, is to provide general information for Latinos. This would include educational resources including government, community, and general welfare programs that assist and educate Latinos in Michigan.
 
 
 
 

Research Plan;

As a group, we plan to all do a fair amount of work while emphasizing each individual's strengths. We plan on meeting on a regular basis to discuss the progress of the website and to further coordinate the allotment of work. We plan to utilize, but not limit ourselves to, the following sources: 

www.michigan.gov for relevant information on government-run Latino Programs and;

 www.wikipedia.org for articles on the Latino experience in America
