This was supported by in excess of $ 25M. of extramural research funds, and included many academic partners across engineering, natural sciences, and social science disciplines.
My coursework emphasized Environmental Microbiology (CEE 582), Bioengineering Process Design (CEE 592), Chemistry of Biodegradation (CEE 692), and the CEE Capstone Design Course (CEE 402 - Focus: green building design).
Since 2006 Integration of economics, finance and value chain theory in domains such as: Reverse innovation (Partners: USF, UCD, UMd, and the Clean Energy Group); Business water risk finance (Partners: the World Resources Institute, Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse); Sustainable network and cluster portfolio optimization (Partners: D. De Lange, Canada; F. Taube, Germany).
My coursework has shifted to Business Model Development (ENG 390), Entrepreneurial Business Fundamentals (ENG 520), CleanTech Entrepreneurship (ENG 521), Sustainability Finance (CEE/ChE 686), and CleanTech Venture Assessment (ES 520). In addition, I serve as CleanTech advisor to the Wolverine and Frankel funds, and advise Ms/MBA and PhD students.
