Lord Le Gobrick has embarked on an impressive building project - a large LEGO castle surrounded by a pleasant little town. There is much work yet to do, but here's what I have so far.
A shot from the new town gate.
Here's a view of the stables from the view of a guard on the main tower of the castle.
You can see a few of the 6 horse stalls. You can also see the stablemaster and one of the
town's Dung Shoveler's Union members. These guys basically do all the work, including construction.
Here are a couple of thatched roof cottages. The original design was created by
Dwinn.
You can see a peasant standing outside his cottage (because there's so little space inside it).
There's a nice little vegitable garden and pig pen here. There's room for one more cottage
between the pig pen and where the dung from the stables is stored.
This picture is sort of blurry. The peasants don't really deserve unblurry pictures now do they?
The west side of town is starting to fill in now. Joining the impressive yellow inn, we have a couple of buildings from set #10193 - Medieval Market Village.
There's also a little shack hidden back there near the outer town wall. Not every peasant can live in a thatched roof cottage.
Set #3739 - Blacksmith Shop has nestled itself in next to the castle wall.
Here's a good view of the well and town market.
A view of the back of the church. You can see the graveyard to the side. Someday there will be a peaceful little garden back here.
