Session 8 - Bleys

I contacted Bleys via Trump first thing in the morning. He was as cheerful as usual and pulled me through to Ygg.

"We are making progress. Have you heard of Frakir?"

"Yes, I believe that was Merlin's bracelet."

"How well do you know it? Well enough to draw me a Trump sketch of it?"

"Actually," Bleys sighed, "I've never gotten its signature."

"Hmmm, how about if I brought you the signature? I should be able to get that from Mandor. After all, he claims to have created Frakir."

"Mandor is a Trump artist, you know." (I didn't) "He can probably draw it for you." Bleys suggested.

I nodded. That would be an interesting thing to try. I wondered if maybe Mandor already had Frakir. Why hadn't he tried Trumping it himself? If Mandor refused to draw the Trump for me or stalled it would point to some measure of guilt on his part. Intriguing.

Bleys and I discussed Trumps. I asked him if he could tell who had draw a Trump and whether he could make a Trump that looked like someone else drew it. He told me that judging the artist of a trump was much like judging the artist of a painting, based on brush strokes, style etc. He also said that he could probably convincingly fool almost anyone if he had to. I took note.

After our talk I Trumped back to Castle Amber.
