Now lets see. If I was Brand would I put traps on my own
bedroom? No. Then it should be safe. I openned the door to a dark
room. Not dusty. That must mean they clean it. Further signs of safety.
I crossed the room and openned the shutters to let in some sunlight.
Brand had a comfy lookin' chair so I took a load off and watched
- Connie broke open the locks on Brand's desk
I saved one drawer from destruction by using
An Effortless Floating on the tumblers.
I didn't even have to leave my chair. Connie found letters, a fortune in
gems, jewelry, gold and other loot, Some artwork, and best of all 6 Trumps.
One was of Dworkin, one was Luke. The other four I didn't recognize, but
the brunette with freckles was really cute.
- Locke picked the lock on a chest and found a magic sword.
Connie said it was named Werewindle and insisted that it was the most
powerful thing in the world, so of course Locke kept it.
- Connie sprung a trap by fiddling with a book name "Caveat".
He was quick enough to avoid all but one of the arrows. I cut that one off
and extracted it. I cast
The Watery Removal of the Sensations
and The Repair of Life's Tissue. The
wound would heal in about a day.
What do you know... Brand did trap his own bedroom.
- Someone found a book about Pattern that explained a little about the
Dreamline
I borrowed the Trump of Dworkin to ask him about the Dreamline, but I
couldn't get though to him. instead I just got his voice telling me to
leave a message. How does he do that?!?
When all the fun and games were done in Brand's room we went
looking for Quinn.
Later that day we were all gathered
in the main hall by a loud fanfare.
