Simon is a large man. He's solidly built and heavily muscled. Although not particularly flexible, he is remarkably quick and light on his feet. He dresses in a style typical for the warm, almost tropical region he resides in - knee length skirt and armless tunic, or a short sleeved knee length robe with low boots or scandals. He prefers white, light gray, and light blue. He is usually unarmed, but has been know to carry a staff or fencing weapon at times. In battle he wears a unique articulated corslet which bares a close resemblance to the roman design, but is truely thin plates with mesh in-between. He does not carry a shield except when engaging archers.
Simon sports long, unruly red hair, which is not uncommon in his homelands. He wears his beard in a short, well groomed vandyke. His most striking features are his fiery red eyes. The iris appear to swirl with orange when he is highly amused and turn a dark red on the rare occasions that he is angered. Also unusual is his skin, which is smoothly covered with a light tan, and has not freckled like most everyone else around him.
