Potholders

Crocheted celestially by Mercurian Creationers, these potholders appear normal, so normal in fact that angels and demons alike are often caused to spend time ranging from a few combat rounds to several minutes pondering these potholders. A perception roll is required to see the true nature of the potholders, otherwise the celestial will spend failed check digit in rounds wondering just what powers they might hold. Those not engaged in other activities will have a hard time pulling their attention away from this pursuit of knowledge. Without a successful perception roll the celestial will find their mind wandering back to the subject of mysterious potholders during moments of peace and quiet, perfect for such introspective searches for truth.
