We are a student organization looking to:
- Inform students about various aspects of a career in academia
- Enhance the teaching and presentation skills of prospective educators
- Assist students in their search for academica positions
- Develop skills needed to establish and lead a research program
- Encourage underrepresented minority participation through focused
recruitment efforts and by addressing concerns unique to minorities
