The Symphonic Band regularly scores Divisional "I" (superior) ratings at District and State Band Festivals.
The Symphonic Band has performed on stage in concert on three occasions with the bands of Eastern Michigan University.
The Symphonic Band has performed on stage at Walt Disney World�s Epcot Center Stage in 1991, 1997 and 2000.
The Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony and Jazz Band have earned Silver and Gold medals at prestigious international music festivals throughout North America.
The Symphonic Band has toured every year since 1988; Montreal (1988), Chicago (1989), New York City (1990), Orlando (1991), Toronto (1992), New York City (1993), Bournemouth, England (1994), Toronto (1995), New York City (1996), Orlando (1997), Bournemouth, England (1998), New York City (1999), Orlando (2000), Toronto (2001).
The Marching Braves have been invited three times and performed twice for the NFL�s Detroit Lions.
In 1993, the Symphonic Band earned a National #1 ranking at the Creative Arts Workshop Showcase festivals in the concert band category.
In 1994 & 1998, the Symphonic Band was selected to perform on stage at the University of Michigan's Hill Auditorium for the 49^th and 53^rd annual Mid-Western Music Educators Conference in
Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The Symphonic Band was invited to perform and compete at the "Bournemouth Music Makers Festival" in Bournemouth, England in 1994 and 1998, where they captured first place in both the Jazz Band and Wind Band categories.
In 2000, the Wind Symphony performed by invitation at the prestigious "Mid-Europe Clinic" in Schladming, Austria.
In 2001, the Wind Symphony earned a First Place Gold Medal, the Adjudicators� Award, and the Outstanding Instrumental Ensemble award at the Heritage Festival in Toronto.
