1997-1998 brought the league owners together under one roof.  In commemoration of the event, official league T-shirts were dedicated.  A few lucky owners received writing on both sides of the T-shirt in recognition for their scouting and managerial skills. Several others (Chris, Einar, Cesar, Barry) were given the following books "How to Recognize Talent" by M.L. Ryan, "Mooning the World with the Run and Shoot Offense" & "Venus and Mars at the Line of Scrimmage - What Women Really Know About Football" by S. Ryan, "Feeling Young with Minute Rice - That San Francisco Comeback Treat", by B.W. Chaffee, and "Winning it All Amid Trash Talk" by K.A. Townsend.  Only Barry would take the time to complete the series and apply it.
