Histone Deacetylases (HDACs)
	Histone deacetylases catalyze the hydrolysis of N-acetyl lysine residues and play an important role in the regulation of gene expression. We are using a variety of biochemical techniques to study the substrate and metal specificity of these metalloenzymes, particularly HDAC8 and HDAC11.	PDB: 2v5w
