STUDY AIMS: |
To evaluate an innovative medical program from a personality,
socialization and developmental perspective by following classes
of students from college entrance to ten years post M.D.

CHARACTERISTICS
OF THE INITIAL SAMPLE: |
Selection criteria:
|
All students admitted to the Inteflex Program at the University
of Michigan since 1972 plus those who were rejected and therefore
entered the college of Literature, Science and the Arts. Also,
all the standard medical students over the same period of time.

50% male and females in Inteflex sample, 20% females in control
sample |
