A short note to let you know, I've got all the compilations up to
date and zipped on my website at:

I am getting ready to overhaul my website, getting rid of a lot
of the extraneous stuff, and expanding the family tree stuff.
For anyone who has relatives in the RUDD line, I'm going to be
putting some info up on them, as well as expanding the Burnett
stuff.
I am still wanting anyone who has old Burnett/Turner/Via/Ross
pictures, and who would be willing to share them, to send them to
me for scanning, and I will be happy to put them on the web for
everyone to share. I have a fondness for old family photos, and
know how to take care of them, so rest assured they will be
returned undamaged. I obviously want to make copies of any
Burnett photos that are out there, but I'll post anything for any
of the group, from any of the other families.
Anyone else who has websites and would like them linked, please
send me the address and I'll put a link to it on my page. I'm
getting ready to register my page with several of the net-search
engines, so it'll be easier to find.

Please add me to the Burnett List. I am a descendant of Sarah E.
Burnett. I believe her middle name was probably "Elizabeth."
Sarah was born about 1834 in NC. She married John S. Springer
Sr. on 1 Aug 1854 in Franklin Co., AR. She died in 1912 in
Texas. Shortly after marrying, John and Sarah moved to Milam
Co., TX. They had the following children: Margaret M. Springer,
William Harvey Springer, Nancy Jane Springer, John S. Springer,
Jr., Clarinda Clarissa Carolin Springer, James V. Springer, Sarah
F. Springer, and Minnie Melcini Springer. I am trying to find
the parents of Sarah Burnett.

The posting by Pennym re Joseph Brown Turner???? may be not
exact, has numerous similarities to my family (I am a Yankee
"Turner" (smile).
But Humphrey Turner m. Lydia Gamer and the line begins. several
of the names are the same as in my line which moved in the 1700's
from MA to CT, to VT in the 1760's or 70's and in 1912 to NH.
I am searching for Elisha Turner I, in Hartland VT census in 1791
m. Betsey Paterson in Hartland Vt in 1788, served in Castleton VT
campaign under Martin Dubley's Company, John Abbottts Reg. in
1791, unable to locate his place of birth, parents or siblings.
This is the one I desc. from.
Names which are very common are Joseph, Elisha, William, Ezra,
Louis (my father) William Waldo, Otis, Ellsworth, Richard. I
think this guy did not want to be found. But three of us (Turner
desc. are trying all pursuits!
I know, this is a shot in the dark, but I keep trying as does
Rick Turner and Dale Turner (woman) and myself, June Turner
Kalipolites.
