I'm hoping your or someone on the list can enlighten me. In Jack Ferguson's,
"Early
Times in Clinton Co.," he states William Hunter, son of William Hunter &
Charity Loftus
was married to three Turner girls:
1. Mary	2. Exonia (Exony	3. Minerva

Mary and Exonia were sisters to William Turner who married William
Hunter's sister, Jane Hunter. Who were the parents of Minerva? Thanks!

Well, with Sherry's post of compilation #139 I am back to my usual confusion
of which John TURNER is the father of Ruth, Nancy T., and Elizabeth J. It
was my understanding based on the research of several people in Patrick
County - including work by Eunice iKrkman who is often found here - that the
following is a correct placement of these
children. Note, this is different from Sherry's placement.

Please, anyone with records to back up either position, please let us know.
Thanks, David n4jed@aol.com

DAVID: I thought today would be a good day to retype the 1914 "In Memorium
of My Grand Parents" by Capt. William Turner. Hopefully, this will help to
clarify the concerns regarding the three daughters of William Turner and Jane
(Hunter) Turner: Ruth, Nancy Tate, and Elizabeth Jane Turner.

======================
In June 1985, I transcribed "In Memoriam of My Grand Parents" by Captain
William Turner, my great-great uncle. I have retyped the document and I'll
be sharing that with you as well as a cover letter that I added to the
transcript at that time. I think many of you will find this interesting. I
would enjoy hearing your comments. I have copies of letters written by
William to his brother John Burnett Turner, Jr. Anyone interested in reading
them onLine? Nyla

Stand by, folks, to see what Capt. William Turner had to say about some of
the descendants of Rev. John and Nancy (Burnett) Turner. == Nyla
