I have a copy for a short while of the A History of The Turner Family by
William Roskey. Will copy it when I have time and then get it back to its
owner. But thought I would give the table of contents in case anyone needs a

collecting the names and emails of people researching Terisha Turners line. We
might do a side emailing for just this family if we get enough people. I have
hard time keeping up with who I've given what info to.

Subject: still looking for my TURNERs
Nyla, Thanks for all you do to promote the TURNER family research. I am
still looking for my two TURNER families though.
My husband's is from Cottonport, LA. mid-1800's to 1900's. Oge had about 13
children, one of whom was Euge. These names are pronounced with the
cajun/french slur of the J.
My TURNER line is Lou Ella TURNER of Texas. She was born there abt. 1860. I
think it was in the vicinity of Grayson Co. as that is where her daughter
married.....
Lou Ella md. JW PARRENT. She insisted, the story goes, on naming her
grandchildren with the ELLA in some way.... some got it as first names, some
as middle.
I would love to find information on either of these lines, preferrably both!
<G> Would like to know if and how they might be related to each other too.
