5 May 1807 in Henry Co., VA. He died 17 Jul 1865. Crawford was an
ardent Whig politically. He was active in public service and held several
elected positions including Civil Magistrate, Court Commissioner in
Chancery, and two terms in the Virginia State Legislature. Crawford
was a Colonel of the Virginia Militia and commanded the Patrick County
regiment in the 1840's and 50's. He was elected Sheriff of Patrick
County, Virginia for two consecutive terms.

Cemetery, Patrick Co., VA. Mack fought in the War for Southern
Independence with the 6th. Virginia Infantry, CSA according to his grave
stone. He lost a leg during the war. McDaniel married (1) Minerva
Tucker WILLIAMS-9119 on 10 Mar 1852 in Franklin Co., VA. Minerva
was born 24 Dec 1833. She died 18 Aug 1853.
