I run a discussion group of about 50 shelton researchers and
their is a record of Tarmesia Shelton.
Section V, Chapter 91of the Pittsylvania VA marriages shows that
on Oct 14, 1833 Andrew D. Young and Tarmesia Shelton were
married...

Hello Nyla,
I really appreciate being kept on the "Turner Compilation"
newsgroup. Even though I have not found any info on my Turner
connections, I keep looking. Maybe some new "member" may have
some info on my 1x or 2x greatgrandfathers. My great grandfather
was Virgil W. Turner (1867-1952). He lived in Ritchie Co WV. My
2x great grandfather was Arthur Turner (b 1825). His second wife
was Nancy Fox who came from VA. As far as Arthur's family, I
have no more info. Maybe by posting this I can find someone with
some info for me.

Paula Kelly Ward and omitted the pop, so if this is duplicated,
forgive me. I am a descendant of Shadrack Turner through both
Jefferson and John on my maternal grandfather's side; from
Francis Turner on my maternal grandmother's side. There is a
connection on my paternal side also! These links from Patrick,
Henry, Franklin, Floyd County, VA. When I checked into Chris'
home page I was surprised and pleased to see Burnett and Ross
also on the list; both ancestor families of mine. I don't know
