A message I posted earlier got on the mail list by accident. But since
it was brought up, the message simply stated I had updated my web
page--I had added the Burnet of Leys line from Alexander down my Thomas
Burnet of Southampton. Anyway, it seems the web page address is
inaccessable to many, perhaps all, AOL members. Before you ask, I don't
have any idea why, it's a perfectly good address. Perhaps AOL can help.
At any rate, this wouldn't be the only web page you can't access from
AOL so perhaps it serves to point out a small problem.

I'm not aware of any problems with any other ISPs at this point. I told
over 20 on-line cousins about the update and only those on AOL had
problems. So for many on this list, this probably isn't of any real
interest anyway. I hope this helps clarify the situation.

I wasn't able to access Jim's page either, and I'm not on AOL. So I went
to the root page and did a search for Member's Homepages. I found a page
with the following URL:
http://home.att.net/~jimfina/
AOL subscribers might want to try that URL.
Jim, your message came through my email program (pine) with the following

This might explain the use of "+AH4-jimfina" instead of "~jimfina" in the

PS. For those who don't know, the root page is the one for the ISP; in
this case, it's http://home.att.net/. There should almost always be

The following Turners are in the land records for Johnson and Pope
Counties in Arkansas. Does anyone recognize them or have information on
them??
McDonald Turner, Pope County, 2/14/1905
Trust Turner, Johnson County, 7/16/1889
I have lots of Turners in this area of Arkansas and would like to know
if these guys match up with any of them.

Some time ago, I came across a posting by Anne Burnett on a Burnett web page
(I've forgotten the web address, etc). She stated that she had a family
tree of Burnetts dating from 1066 - 1973, including Burnetts that lived in
Crathes Castle. I posted an inquiry to her on the website but never heard
from her.
Does anyone have this information? If so I would like to hear from you.
