Thank you Mitosis for the invite to post my web site:
http://www.junebaldwinbork.com

My site features the first Burnett to come to the American Colonies in
1638 and the three volumes of "The Burnetts and Their Connections" cover
many of the major lines all over the U.S. If you have an unknown
Burnett family, check the books out. You may find a clue to solve your
problem.

My first book was the 1850 Census of Patrick co, Va back in 1976.

The site has a price list for all the books I have written, including
Wayne County, Kentucky. Many left Patrick/Henry and other counties of
Virginia and settled in Wayne or passed through. It borders Pulaski Co
on the north, Adair and Russel on the west; Cumberland on S.W; McCreary
and Whitley on the east side and state of Tennessee on the south. The
Cumberland River runs thru the county separating Pulaski and Wayne. The
inhabitants used this river to ship hogs down to Nashville. It is one
of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. /s/ June

Hello All

This came from another list and I thought it a good thing to do here.

They are asking everyone that has a Genealogy related to page to post
them for many people may not know they are out there.

and in doing this I will go one step futher.

I will add your personal web page to mine if you would like, this must
be of some Genealogy interest and all I ask in return is if you could
post mine you dont have to I just ask.

And if you are a member of or Genealogy Society I will post your web
site as well.

I would like to ask others to do the same it can only help others.

I subscribe in the digest form, and I do believe sometimes I don't get
all the messages. If I ever find Thomas TURNER,born SC ca.1811, father
of Kinion, George W, Frances M., Andrew
J.,Sarah
E., Noah S., Thomas M., John,Lewis C, and William, there's no teling
what *I'll* do. Write a poem if I have the talent, probably just cry
tears of joy. I f you don't have it in your heart to be glad for
someone else, just keep quiet, for the success stories make some of us
very happy..

Hello All

My Great Grandfather Bige Burnett worked for the L & N Railroad in
Pickway Ohio.

Does anyone on the list have old records for this area, as far as dates
or time all I know is Steam engine were still in use for he had the
brake lever cut off a engine that was sitting in the station that had
been junked on the day he left.

Any help will and is thanked very much.

Greetings to Everyone:

Can anyone help with the following question? Thanks much.

Would like information on Charles LEWIS' wife, Joyce TURNER and their
children. So far have almost no information on Joyce.

Charles LEWIS, b. 1788 Carroll Co.,VA and later settled near Danville,
VA with his wife, Joyce TURNER after their marriage in 1808.
Charles'parents were David LEWIS b. 1758 and Elizabeth MARTIN.

Would like information on Charles and Joyce's children. Currently only
know two children: Argelon (Archibald) G. LEWIS b. 11/20/1808 in
Pittsylvania Co., VA and Nancy LEWIS b. between 1808 and 1815. Argelon
married Elizabeth WHEELER abt 1834 and moved in 1839 to Surry County,
NC. Sometime later Nancy followed and lived in Argelon's household
unmarried. One of Argelon's sons, William Turner LEWIS moved to Terrell
County, GA and raised his family. William Turner was my
great-grandfather.

I've not been able to get any leads on Joyce TURNER. Since her family
name was used to create my name, Charles Turner Lewis, I would like to
get a break and find some details of Joyce's family, parents, siblings
and ancestors.

Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

"Lets Please Nyla Again." She has requested the John Turner / Elizabeth
Price data and I thought maybe some of you good genie's out there would
post them to the group (I promised her you would). If there are errors
in some of it, maybe now would be a good time for discussion to get
those bugs out. Thanks, June
