My name is James Eddy. My great grandfather John Henry Eddy and his uncle
Thomas D. Eddy ran the Rough and Ready mill at the turn of the century, until
about 1906.

I was surprised to find that the mill had been owned before then and had even
been destroyed by a flood.

 The names I have follow:
William M. Eddy born 1830 in Roanoke Co. Occupation: Miller at Beaver Creek.
Married Elvira M. Jenkins 12/21/1837 Children:
John Henry Eddy b. June/1856 died 27 Oct 1903 m. Nannie Emma McGhee
		Alice S. Eddy b 23 June 1862 m. _____ Hurd
		Ella Eddy b. ? m. ____ Stultz
		Mary Lucy Eddy (Lou) (Molly) b. 1 June 1859 m. W. G. Turner.

I have no more information at this time about Mary. Does anyone know this
lineage?
I'm really interested to find out if the mill was sold to my G. Grandfather
or if he just lived there and ran it for the Turners.

 Thanks,
 James
