BURNETT, Michael Clifton, 54, of Wythevile,Va, died Sat., March 20, 1999.
Memorial services will be held Tues, at 11:00 A.M. at the Gillman Funeral
Chapel.


ROSS, Nell C., 89 of Sugar Grove, passed away Sunday. Mar 21, 1999 in a
Wytheville Nursing Home.,  She was the widow of GARLAND RAY ROSS.....Mrs.
ross was a retired teacher from the Grayson and Smyth County School Systems
and a member of the Wharf Hill United Methodist Church & was active in in
civic affairs in Sugar Grove community.  She is survivied by her son and
daughter-in-law....1 granddaughter and husband...one ggranddau....all of
Christensburg,VA  Funeral services will be held at ll:00 A.M. Tues in the
Wharf Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth C Conner
officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Friends may call
after 2:00P.M. Tues.(?-this is what is says) at Barnett's Marion Funeral
Home where the family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 PM Monday.

George Joseph Ingram
I copied this from the Floyd Co.,Va mailing list as many also have Ingram's
in their family trees.  Also, note Melvin Nolen as a foster sister's husband.

George Joseph Ingram 87 of Floyd passed away Wednesday March 17, 1999 at
his home . He was a member of the Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethern and
was a well known merchant and farmer, having seved his friends and
neighbors in the mercantile  business for over 65 years. He was preceded in
death by his parents Eslie T and Della B Ingram ; two brothers Uriah T
Ingram and Nelson B Ingram ; three sisters Bessie I Nichols, Cassie I
Lawrence, and Dorothy I Shelor. Survivors , a devoted wife of 67 years
Doris Thomas Ingram of Floyd; son & daughter-in-law Elvin E & Ruth V Ingram
of Floyd.; two grandsons and wives, David W & Teresa M Ingram  and Robert L
& Amy J Ingram of Floyd ; one great-grandson David Wayne Ingram Jr ; one
great grand daughter Kassie K Ingram ; two sisters Mary I Vest of Copper
Hill, Myra I Peters of Floyd; one foster sister and husband Mildred and
Melvin Nolan of Floyd; one sister-in-law Gladys R Ingram of Roanoke;
several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at
2pm Saturday at the Mayberry Funeral Home Chapel with Re. Elbert Lee Naff
and Rev Roy U Turpin officiating . Music and singing will be provided by
the Red Oak Grove Choir. Burial will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery. The
family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be sent to the Red Oak Grove
Church of the Brethern 775 Red Oak Grove Road, Floyd, Va 24091.
