Grettings!

I am searching for the family of Bond Burnett, born ca. 1788-1792 in
Amherst County Virginia. Father of Bond was William Burnett Sr., who was
the son of Bond and Isabel (Horsley) Burnett. William Sr. migrated to
Madison County Kentucky with his brothers, Roland, Zachariah, Bond Jr.
and Micajah after 1785. Bond, son of William Sr. married Elizabeth
"Betsy" Campbell on 1/3/1825 in Madison County, she the daughter of
Audley & Mary (Elliott) Campbell. Elizabeth was born 4/17/1797. Children
of Bond and Elizabeth were; Audley Campbell Burnett, William Cornelius,
James, John, Bond Jr., Elizabeth, *Jeremiah*, and Mary. Spousal surnames
of children include; McHenry, Ricords, Callison, Todd, Hoskins, Baker
and Golden. Elizabeth Campbell Burnett remarried John Hoskins after the
death of Bond Burnett. She died 10/23/1858 and is buried in the Campbell
Cemetary in Madison County Ky. I cannot find out when or where Bond died
for sure, but at a guess it would have been between 1848 and 1850 as
Elizabeth married John Hoskins in 1850 and Bond signs a marriage bond
for daughter Mary in 1848. it is possible that Bond is also in the
Campbell Cemetary, but there are many fieldstone markers, so it's left
up to guessing!! am also trying to find Bond & Elizabeth's son Jeremiah.
He was born ca. 1828/36 probably in Bartholomew County Indiana. He
married Charlotte Baker, d/o Wansley Baker Jr. & Letitia "Lettie"
Hendron of Madison County. They are on the 1870 Rockcastle County census
with children; Schuyler,Hannie, Joseph, Lettie, Dovey, Bruce and
Charlotte. Again they are found on the 1880 Madison County census, MINUS
Jeremiah and daughters, Hannie and Charlotte! I would like to find out
about these folks as people and not just names and dates. Also would
like to find out where some of them vanished!

Kind Regards,

Tammy

Jalyn, our youngest daughter, delivered NOLEN-LYNN PATRICK BOYD at 2:09,
Friday, April 9, 1999 at Community Hospital, Roanoke, Va. Both are doing
well. He weighed 6 Lb.-9 3/4 oz., has black curly hair and blue eyes as of
now. If everything continues to go well, they will come home Sunday. She
plans to call him "Nolen-Lynn."
She has another son, BRYOR DAVIDSON DANIELS, who was born July 5, l995.
As you can tell, we are big on family names. Jalyn is a combination of my
name & my husband's, Lynn, and Nolen is my maiden name. Jalyn's full name
is Jalyn Nolen Matherly Daniels-Boyd.
