Hi Cuzins,
Just wanted to say "Hi Yall" to everyone and to remind ya to come
visit "our" Burnett web site. If you haven't been there in a while,
come on back. If you are new to the list then if might just be worth
your time to stop by. There are a lot of Burnett web sites listed there
which you should take the time to see. NOT all of them connect to John
Burnett I.
NOTE:
I deleted 3 Burnett web sites as I got a message that they no longer
exist! If you have/had a Burnett web site and have moved it, please let
me know so I may redo the link. If you have a Burnett web site that I
don't have listed please let me know so I may add it to the list.

Hi Cuzins,
Not long ago I posted a message about the Jones Memorial Library in
Lynchburg, Virginia and to which there was a great deal of response.
Since then I have gotten more than several emails about how do you
access their library computer and see what books, etc. they have there.
It is on their web site and I'll try and explain in simple terms as it
can be a bit confusing.
1.) Go to, http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/3348/ and click on "Jones
Memorial Library."
2.) Click on "Catalogues."
3.) Click on "Lynchburg Information Network."
4.) Top left corner in red, click on "LION *click here."
5.) At the bottom of the screen you will see "Login:" For Jones
Memorial Library, type, lpdial
6.) Here it asks for your terminal type. Just type in, ?
7.) From here just type in, 3. Or you can type, VT100. This will work
for almost all of us.
8.) Now you are asked if you want to test... This is just to see if you
can view the pages correctly. If you press "Y" you get a test screen.
At the bottom it asks, "Is this terminal emulation correct? Y/N" It
should be. If not press "N" and you are back to #7. Try another one.
9.) If it looked okay and you pressed "Y" you are now into their
computer. The rest is easy to figure out. Now you can access every
book in the library.
