Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for any information on a James R. Turner born in 1836. He
married a Sarah Jane Wood, daughter of Josiah Wood. He is my gg
Grandfather and I'm searching for any information on his family. He came
from Patrick County to Greenbriar County, West Virginia and then to
DIckenson County, Virginia. He joined the 51st infantry in Elamsville,
Virginia. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Wilma Carroll

In the few short years that I have been doing my genealogy, I think I am
the only one that doesn't have a Burnett in June's books or research.
Of all the Burnett researchers I think there is only one other that is
searching the same Burnett line as myself. Mitosis is correct June
Baldwin Bork is a very grand and gracious lady. I met her in Apple
Valley when I purchased her books.

Still looking for New York (not NY City)Burnetts.

Hello All,

I'm somehow related to Godfrey Burnett. Here's my story:

I found information on Elizabeth Allen who was married to Henry Carriker. In
a land sale, Henry sold property that was left to Elizabeth. This land sale
stated that she was heir of Littlton Allen and Device of Godfrey Burnett.

I got a copy of Godfrey Burnett's will and it gave the same information of
where the property was located as to the one in the land sale.

I have other information on Godfrey Burnett but it doesn't quite match up to
the information I have. Can someone help?

Godfrey Burnett d. 1823 in Anson Co., NC spouse unknown.

Now this is the information I found: Godfrey Burnett b. 1755 Southfarnham
Parish, VA
	m. 1780 to Elizabeth Allen b. 1759 Essex VA her father was William Allen Sr.
children Littleton Allen Burnett 0 1781 Essex, VA

See how the names fit but the dates don't. My Elizabeth Allen wasn't born
until @1816 in NC. And according to the land sale and the will my Elizabeth
was daughter to Littleton Allen.

Paula
