PLATFORM OF VENUS
As the name implies, The Platform of Venus is dedicated to the planet Venus. This planet held special significance to the Mayans, as they considered it to be their god of war. The actual platform is situated between El Castillo and the Cenote Sagrado. And as most Mayan architecture, this structure does not fail to includes carvings of serpents.
