Effective revival leaders...
- have been touched by God. (Gen. 32)
- want to see souls saved.
- have a hunger for God, beyond the sermon.
- hear God's voice.
- hear God's call; sense something supernatural in their life.
- unwavering in their commitment.
- have a significant influence on people.
- hold lightly to what God's given them.
- sense they're on a mission for God, not just a fax machine for human ideas.
- are often misunderstood because they're unusual and unorthodox.
- are keenly aware of the holiness of God and the sinfulness of man, not seeking attention for themselves.
- have fire in their bones; exude confidence in God's Word.
- are formed in the secret place of prayer and praise.
- walk in faith; without it, it is impossible to please God.
- are focused on the eternal, intense and on a mission.
- work hard, beyond their physical limits.
- maintain discipline.
