Hello! I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Industrial and Operations Engineering with a dual degree in Statistics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
My research interests lie in the intersection of industrial data science and nonlinear optimization, aiming to address a wide range of challenges in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Currently, I focus on developing new digital twin calibration methodologies for energy systems such as building energy and wind power systems. Additionally, I am working to advance industrial data science methodologies for smart manufacturing.
Previously, I worked as a data scientist at NICE Credit Bureau, where I experienced launching a new business that leverages large-scale real estate data in South Korea. Then I joined academia through a master’s program in Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, where I was involved in data analytics projects to create innovative quality fault diagnostic methods for multi-stage manufacturing systems.
Throughout my academic journey, I have had the privilege of being selected as the Edward P. Fitts, Seth Bonder, and IES Graduate Fellow.
I am on the job market in 2024-2025.
