Who We Are
Christians on Campus at the University of Michigan is a campus group comprising believers in Christ from various backgrounds. We love the Lord Jesus and endeavor to give Him the first place in all things. Col. 1:18Our Goal
It is vital to have Christian companions throughout our college years to build, preserve, and strengthen our faith. With so much going on around campus, it is hard to give even a minute of our time to the Lord. Together, we want to recover the focus of our human life, which is to enjoy God and His presence!
The Bible is the complete divine revelation inspired word-by-word by God through the Holy Spirit.
2 Pet. 1:21; 2 Tim. 3:16
God is uniquely one yet triune - the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.
1 Tim. 2:5a; Matt. 28:19
Christ died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption. Christ resurrected from among the dead on the third day. Christ ascended to the right hand of God to be Lord of all.
1 Pet. 2:24; Eph. 1:7a; 1 Cor. 15:4; Acts 1:9; 2:33, 36
Whenever any person repents to God and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, he is regenerated (born again) and becomes a living member of the Body of Christ.
Acts 20:21; John 3:3; Eph. 1:22-23; Rom. 12:5
It's really like visiting home away from home. I’ve grown in my faith, and I feel like I’ve learned how to live as a Christian and as a true ambassador of Christ in my daily life.
I [was] searching for a wholesome, social, and spiritually building environment. Christians on Campus has been all that and much more for me. I have found a family that cares about every aspect of my life. Though my background is Baptist, I feel very comfortable worshiping and enjoying fellowship with everyone in the group.
When looking back at my first year as a student at Michigan, I can recall meeting saints from Chile, countless delicious meals and fellowship in the homes, and spending time with those that seek the Lord and His Word.
During my undergrad years at San Francisco State University, I began meeting with the sister club there - Christian Students. When I came to U-M for my graduate degree, I missed the fellowship and cherishing and continued to be active in this group as well. The members from both groups have been identical in their faith, fellowship, and care for me. I can't enumerate the eternal benefits that I have reaped from being with my dear peers and my spiritual parents.
It has been such a blessing to our family and I've really enjoyed meeting so many students from all over the world! Watching them grow in their love and pursuit of our dear Lord Jesus is an indescribable joy to me. The Christian life is exciting, dynamic, challenging and fulfilling. Come grow with us and enjoy your "home away from home!"
