IN AN INTERNATIONAL MARKET?
There are no guarantees that a given product will sell. There will always be risk involved in exporting, but there is risk inherent in any business venture. However, by engaging in a thorough research and planning campaign, the risk will substantially decrease. By properly preparing to enter a foreign market, a firm is less likely to be caught off guard or taken by surprise. With the appropriate knowledge, company management is better able to make profitable decisions regarding the market. A Word of Caution: should any foreign firm guarantee the sale of a product abroad without assuming risk of the product (i.e. taking title), be very cautious about entering into a contractual agreement.
