DESCRIPTION: Future Horizons handles books, workbooks, videos and other forms of media on Autism and Asperger's Syndrome.  They also have an active conference program, promoting and hosting conferences all across the country.  They are a particularly good source for workbooks and other teaching tools for children with special needs.  Their links page includes a number of valuable Internet resources.

DESCRIPTION: One of the most prolific publishers of books on autism, Jessica Kingsley publishes professional and academic books on social and behavioral sciences including: Asperger's Syndrome, Autism and other Syndromes, Parenting, Health & Social Care, and other related topics.  They are the publishers of numerous personal narratives written by both ASD parents as well as first hand accounts from people with ASD.

DESCRIPTION: Woodbine House is one of the largest publishers of books for people with a variety of special needs including Autism.  Of primary note is the Topics in Autism  series that includes seven books highlighting different areas, relationships and aspects of Autism.  They also publish books geared towards youth readers on children with special needs.
