National River Restoration Science Synthesis (NRRSS)

The goal of the National River Restoration Science Synthesis project is to provide a national level scientific synthesis of river restoration that can be used to inform policy at local, regional, and national levels. The methods will involve in-depth research at eight geographic regions in the United States. The synthesis will facilitate the linkage between the practice of ecological restoration and the science of restoration ecology and will attempt to establish standards for data gathering to scientifically assess restoration methods and success.
