| Wilf Martin hails from Mallaig, Alberta. He played center during the 1963-64 and 1964-65 seasons, being captain his last year. During his two-year career at Michigan, he scored 54 goals and 37 assists. Wilf's finest moments at Michigan were when he scored two goals against Michigan Tech in the 1963-64 playoffs, which Michigan won 4-3. | |
| He was also a member of coach Al Renfrew's first NCAA championship team in 1964. He was awarded the Dekers Most Colorful Rookie trophy in the 1963-64 season. | |
