Carrie is a 3rd year undergraduate student majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology and German Studies, with hopes of attending a Public Health Graduate School. During the 2003-2004 school year, she will serve as a Vice President for the Student Alumni Council of the university.

Carrie is currently studying inner ear development in zebrafish, and studied forebrain development in Dr. Zoltan Varga's laboratory in Freiburg, Germany during the summer of 2002.
