Mash Process
The reactor shown here is used during the "mash in" process where water at 155oF is mixed with 1000 pounds of grains from around the world. This process takes starches from the grains and breaks them down to sugars which are used in the fermentation.
600 Gallon Kettle
600 gallon kettle where hops is added to give the beer aroma, flavor and bitterness and where the beer wort is boiled prior to fermentation
575 Gallon Fermenter
575 gallon fermenter where the beer ferments for 3-7 weeks. Note the conical shape of the lower half of the vessel which helps to collect the yeast and some fermentation products.
