				SESSION 17

	oh!  we're playing THIS week!  ah ha ha.  well, then i suppose i
need to post the log, huh?  heh.  no, ah, no problem.  i'll just (shuffle,
shuffle), it's right (shuffle)....would you believe the cat ate it? 

	"The Minimalist Log"

	Jubal makes an example of Duke Linquist.
	Archimedes watches Laughter sit in her garden.
	Ulysses gets a toe job from Lyria and tries unsuccessfully to
Trump Laughter.
	Cameron raises an army of na siogai.
	Jubal takes a vacation after letting Julian convince himself that
the killings will continue.
	Corwin Trumps Laughter in the wee hours and suggests that they
merge forces.
	Laughter awakens Archimedes, to whom the Corwin-Random alliance is
not new, and they dress separately.
	Tianen Trumps Sandr offering an escape, but he needs a couple
hours to think it over.
	Ulysses wakes up and Trumps Laughter with one foot newly intact.
	Tianen Trumps Sandr and gives him a Trump to use when he finally
decides, and she comments that she should locate his deck.
	Lyria distracts Ulysses during his Trump with Laughter, who the
notes suggest is asking him to leave.
	Sandr uses the Trump.
	Ulysses waits for something better.
	Cameron shows his troops a villiage and comments that Laughter
might summer there...
	Ulysses Trumps Random.
	Laughter gets boned by the captain of a town, who informs her that
the carrier from Basingstoke never arrived, and he suspects that the fact
of the town being reduced to cinders may have something to do with that.
	Sandr is presumed and relies on his natural slipperiness to get
around the password.
	Beauty bones Laughter and passes along a cheery note from Brand,
found in Sandr's room, where one would normally have expected to find
Sandr.
	Sandr attends to his needs and explores his new surroundings.
	Jubal drags the Venus de Milo, fully armed, all the way to
Llewella's house in Rebma, and receives refreshments for his pains.
	A third town falls to the na siogai, despite there being no record
of a second.
	Ulysses chastises Random for trying to defeat a warrior with an
army.
	Jubal agrees that he should try Trumping Archimedes again and that
he should attend to Adrian soon and that....
	Sandr Trumps Ulysses and informs him that he left Foil and would
he be so kind as to call back?
	Sandr gets Trumped by Tianen.
	Ulysses Trumps Sandr, but nothing happens.
	Sandr wants a backup plan, so Tianen suggests that Finndo wouldn't
miss the Jewel of Judgement.
	Laughter gives Archimedes a history lesson whilst the bear down on
Cameron's troops.
	Seeing their approach, Cameron shouts something about messing with
Brand and abandons the na siogai to Laughter's tender mercies.
	Laughter and Archimedes barely win.
	Archimedes learns from a couple captives that their leader was
Brandon Farnsworth, and Laughter sends them to their reward, and thence to
Amber with a note.
	Lyria comes in while Ulysses talks with Sandr via Trump.
	Finndo is amused by Cameron's report, so next he gets to round up
his own father for the cause.
	Sandr steals the Jewel of Judgement and absconds to Tianen's
shadow with it, from whence he Trumps her, to her great displeasure.
	Ulysses and Lyria track down Beauty, who apparently does have
better things to do.
	Laughter Trumps Corwin and lets him know that she has no
objections to bringing the troop count up to 250,000, so he agrees to
attend dinner.
	Jubal Trumps Archimedes, and much gentle mocking ensues.
	At dinner in Foil, there is some small discussion as to Sandr's
whereabouts and the possibility of Brand's involvement.
	Lyria demonstrates how to pronounce the first bit of her name as
she watches Archimedes strip down to join herself and Ulysses, amongst
others, in the river.
	Ulysses tries to Trump Sandr, but nothing happens.
	Cameron rides away from Amber and Trumps Caine, who says he'll
consider any offers made in his general direction.
	Lyria sits up in bed and screams at Sandr for getting the Jewel of
Judgement before okaying it with her first.

	Archimedes is in bed with Laughter.
	Cameron is some distance from any bed.
	Jubal has bedded down in Rebma.
	Laughter is only physically in bed with Archimedes.
	Lyria is in bed with Ulysses.
	Sandr is in no bed, but rather is in Trump contact with Tianen.
	Tianen is in bed with Ulysses.
	Ulysses is in bed with one confused woman.
