Whimsy's log, Chapter 120

    Saturday, August 26, 2994

    Whimsy has breakfast with Fiona and tells her the whole story of Edwin and Thorn. Fiona is disappointed in Whimsy, and expresses concern about her apparent lack of responsibility. Whimsy is less than impressed with Mother's taking this as an opportunity to berate her.

    Sunday, August 27, 2994

    Whimsy chats with Ariana, who is preparing to leave for Ygg. Grayson has disappeared. Whimsy finds a spell signature in his room, and realizes that he was helped from Amber by Jack. She chooses not to tell Ariana, but does offer to track him down while Ariana is absent.

    Whimsy augers that Grayson is in Avalon. She goes to talk to Fiona and learns of how to reach Avalon. The journey is grotesque and disturbing, but she manages.

    In Avalon she talks to Grayson, Clarissa, Ona, and Blake. Little is accomplished. Whimsy is impressed with Blake, and not terribly impressed with Grayson. She resolves to hurry back to Amber to warn her mother of Jack's return, and to do something about poor Rénard.
