Roy Franklin Sadberry

Born seven miles Northwest of Purcell, McClain Co., Oklahoma.

Roy Sadberry Services are Held July 6, 1974:

Funeral services for Roy F. Sadberry were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 1974 in Primrose Chapel, in Norman. Dr. Lavonn Brown conducted the service.
Mr. Sadberry was born in McClain County, Oklahoma, November 14, 1918. He died Thursday, July 4, 1974 in the Carnegie Hospital.
The Sadberry family resided in Noble for many years prior to moving to Norman about seven years ago. Mr. Sadberry had been employed in construction work for many years, and served as a member of the Noble Board of Education for some time. He was a partner with Ken Richardson in Highway Construction, Inc., at the time of his death. He was a Baptist, and a 32nd degree Mason in the Noble Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Jane, of the home at 1927 Aladdin Street in Norman; two sons, Dan Richard of the home and Michael Roy of Marina Del Rey, California; one daughter, Mrs. William Nashert of Oklahoma City; his mother, Mrs. S. R. Sadberry of Noble; one brother, Harold of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Glen Casey of Norman and Mrs. Gene Price, Arlington, Texas, and one granddaughter.
The family has designated the Baptist's Children Home in Oklahoma City as appropriate for memorial contributions.
Pallbearers were Ray Richardson, Bill Fisher, Wendell Casey, Russell Richardson, Preston Holsinger, and Wayne Markel.
Internment was in the Noble IOOF Cemetery.
