Warren Riley Barnes was born 9/7/1827 in Edgecombe County, NC.  He married Elizabeth Hale Talbot 12/22/1850 in Tallapoosa County, AL.  She was born 2/8/1829.  In 1859, they moved to Texas.  They had ten children of their own and raised Warren's son by his first marriage.  Warren died in 1908 and Elizabeth died in 1924.  They were buried at Pittsburg, TX.
