The parish clerk and the vestry clerk were different positions held concurrently by two different men. From these bills we learn that it was the vestry clerk, not the parish clerk, who prepared the annual tithe books and token books. This file is sequential by shelfmark not by date. Text is modernised except for surnames.

A note of the fees belonging to the clerk of the vestry

For entering the Great Account - 12s
For the two other accounts & making the books for the poor & the College - 6s 8d apiece for every book
The 3 token books finding paper - 13s 4d
The tithe books for books & all - 22s
For registering the month's bills & copying them to the Ordinary -- 6s 8d
For the 4 churchwardens' bonds - [blank] apiece
For the single bonds - 12d apiece
I had for writing the presentment at the archdeacon's visitation - 2s
For passes - 2d apiece

4 bonds to be made ready against the 2d of March* for the 4 chuchwardenss to seal upon pain of the clerk to forfeit 12d
The clerk to enter first in every account book what is paid in by the former churchwardens upon the foot of their several accounts
Item for the survey for the church lands - rs Mr C had
