Our education series so far has consisted of internally-taught classes. Some of these were developed internally, others were purchased from vendors. For more information on any of these classes, send e-mail to Catherine Lilly at

Total Quality Training from ITD
Basic Principles of Total Quality
- - TQ 101
- - 8 hours
- - Nearly the entire staff of ITD has attended one of these training sessions. This means over 600 staff members.

- Application of the basic principles
- - TQ 102
- - 8 hours
- - approximately 90% of ITD staff have attended one of these sessions (over 550 staff ).
- Team Leader Training
- - Basic Quality Skills and Tools to lead /be an effective member of a Quality or basic problem-solving team
- - 40 hours
- - approximately 50% of staff attended have attended one of these sessions (over 300 staff).
- Team Member Orientation sessions
- - for newly-forming Quality teams
- - 4-8 hours
- - a number of newly-forming teams have taken advantage of this.
- Partnering with Customers for Process Innovation and Improvement
- - TQ 103
- - 7 hours
- - approximately 55% of staff attended have attended one of these sessions (over 345 staff).
- Developing Quality Indicators
- - TQ 201
- - (just beginning)

- Team Facilitator Training
- - specialized skills necessary to support leaders of quality improvement teams, process innovation teams and cross-functional project teams.
- - 44 hours over several days.
- - approximately 30 staff members have attended one of these sessions.
