About InterVarsity USA

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship USA (IVCF USA) is a Christian movement to colleges and universities nationwide. There are over 800 InterVarsity chapters, like ours, in the United States. IVCF USA is also a founding member of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES), a worldwide network of more than 90 national Christian student movements.

A Little History

InterVarsity began in Great Britain in the 1870's. From there it spread to Canada and, in 1941, it was incorporated here in the United States. Our chapter, here at the University of Michigan, is the oldest chapter in the United States.
