Sunday, December 2, 2001 - Rest Day

Another rest day! We are really resting and fattening up, getting ready for the final push to the Keys. We had a very nice dinner last night, went to bed early and got up around 6:30. It is really nice being with family again, no one in the world will treat you better than your family. And it is always fun to hear the stories about your parents from their siblings. We had a relaxing morning, then went to the country club for a delicious lunch and are spending the afternoon just relaxing. We did some more calculations and think we will be in Jacksonville on Saturday, completing the coast-to-coast part of the trip. The route ends in St. Augustine, but we are going north to Jacksonville instead to visit some longtime friends.
