Grades will be assigned on the basis of a comprehensive examination on the last day of class (80%) and short quizzes given every class period (20%). The lowest two scores on the quizzes will not be counted in determining the grade. The final examination will be 50 minutes long and will comprise 45 multiple-choice questions and 5 short-answer questions. Any conflicts must be cleared with the instructor at least one week prior to December 9, the date of the final examination.
