Yes, they have Bologna in Bologna, but they call it Mortadella, there is
no Oscar Meyer here.
This scene seems like it could have been in the 1950s. There are still
cute little Fiats around, no doubt fashionable again because of fuel
prices.
ISHE was held in a former monastery that is now part of the university.
Some of the talks were in rooms with frescos hundreds of years old.
Here we are at the old well in the middle of the monastery courtyard,
converting the facilities into a fountain of knowledge.
Some ISHE members are prolific travelers. Here Allan demonstrates how he

The B and B where I stayed had a small archeology exhibit, some of the
collections of a family member who was an acheologist, perhaps this was
why the conference organizers recommended it.
