I seem to be in NYC quite a bit, although this time I did see an area I did not visit before because the conference
was held at Teacher's College, Columbia University.

Teacher's College. The campus is quite compact due to the lack of avaialable space. The buildings look impressive,
as would befit an Ivy League campus. However, the insides resemble unrenovated NYC buildings with multiple layers
of peeling paint over concrete. The clanking steam radiators are either on or off, so on these early March days the radiators were
on and the windows were open because it would get way to hot otherwise. I guess that the expense of being in NYC limits the
funds available for updating the facilities.
