Dr. Carlos Baiz
3/15/11
Carlos joined the group in 2006 and has been involved in both experimental and theoretical aspects of 2DIR spectroscopy, with a focus on metal carbonyls and their photochemistry. Additionally, Carlos has studied intramolecular hydrogen transfer. Carlos defended his Ph.D in Chemistry in February 2011.
After a postdoctoral research at MIT and the University of Chicago in the lab of Prof. Andrei Tokmakoff, Carlos will start his own lab at the University of Texas-Austin in Fall 2015.
