17 yo with MRI consistent with limbic encephalitis. Process first noted only on earlier scan with hemorrhage involving left cingulate gyrus (evident upper left image). Now extensive increased T2 signal of limbic system bilaterally, non-enhancing. Also involvement of left insular cortex and frontal lobe. Diffusion weighted images negative (not shown).
