Genetics of Rolandic Epilepsy

Description: This study aims to find the susceptibility genes for classical Rolandic epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes. It is a multicenter genetic linkage study recruiting eligible patients and their families from across the USA. We are seeking 100 patients in the first phase. Data and DNA collection are performed in person by a research fellow at the family home, or by mail if the patient resides outside the northeastern states (NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA).
