Dr. Christopher A. Walsh�s lab at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Children�s Hospital Boston is searching for genes involved in brain development.  We are enrolling families with disorders of brain development to participate in a research study searching for the genes responsible for these conditions.  Finding such genes will help us to learn more about the process of brain development as well as identify specific causes of these conditions.  For participating families, we would like to review medical records, MRI films, and/or pathology slides and specimens from affected family members.  We would also like to receive a blood or DNA sample from each member of the family.
